Saronsberg, the award winning Tulbagh wine cellar, announced on the 1st of September the release of their much-anticipated flagship wine, Full Circle 2014.

Carefully hand-selected grapes from the best performing vineyards are blended each year to create Full Circle, a wine that embodies the consistent quality and finesse Saronsberg are best known for. This acclaimed wine is aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak and is consistently rated the leading South African Rhône-style blend.

Saronsberg Full Circle 2014 has already made an impression at competition level and shows its class as a Top 100 SA wine, as a Top Category Rhône Blend at the 2016 South African Wine Index Awards, and being awarded not only Gold at the IWC 2016, but also the IWC South African Red Wine Trophy award.

“It’s always exciting to share the fruit of your labour with appreciating wine lovers. This wine speaks of our terroir and the meticulous efforts in the vineyard and cellar,” says Dewaldt Heyns, cellar master at Saronsberg.

The wine has prominent ripe plum and red berry flavours combined with floral notes and undertones of spice. The oak is well-balanced with full, firm, yet accessible tannins. A wine of depth, complexity and grace. The 2014 vintage comprises 89% Shiraz, 7% Grenache, 3% Mourvèdre and 1% Viognier.
